Payne Printery, Inc. Installs New Press

28 Aug Payne Printery, Inc. Installs New Press

Heidelberg Speedmaster CX-102-6 with Image Control

Dallas, PA, August 28, 2017– Northeastern Pennsylvania based Payne Printery, Inc. has installed a new Heidelberg Speedmaster CX-102-6 offset printing press in its Dallas facility; adding to its existing lineup of Heidelberg presses.

“We have and will continue to invest in new and emerging technologies to meet or exceed the needs of our clients and prospects. We’re excited about the efficiencies and added capacity this new press brings.”

– Shaun M. Daney, Vice President, Sales

By minimizing makeready times, energy consumption, and paper waste, the Speedmaster CX 102 not only sets technological standards in terms of its productivity, but also its environmental friendliness. Payne prides itself on its environmentally friendly production processes and use of renewable solar energy to fuel production.

With a maximum speed of 16,500 sheets per hour, the 40-inch format press will print up to 6 colors plus a variety of aqueous coatings inline and is equipped with Heidelberg Image Control. The world’s leading measurement system for monitoring the entire printing process, Image Control’s great advantage is that it measures the entire print image while at the same time providing automatic online controls for all printing units. This minimizes color fluctuations and enables users to work with reproducible color values AT ALL TIMES.

“We’re passionate about our craft. This press offers technology that raises the bar for print quality and production control. I’m excited to be working with our implementation team during the installation and training process.”

– Doug Ehret, Vice President, Production & Quality Control

Serving customers throughout Delaware, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania for more than 80 years, Payne combines a rich print heritage with leading, modern technologies to deliver the best printed materials available.
